The Bay Nature Institute recently chose BKF Fellow José González for a “questions and answers” session to be published on their website. Since his mentorship with Hugo Morales through Butler Koshland Fellowships, José launched “Latino Outdoors” to foster involvement in the environment, conservation, and activism for Latinos. In his conversation with blog author Lexi Pandell, he talks about obstacles to his mission, some misunderstandings about his organization, what makes the Bay special to his cause. To hear more about Jose and Latino Outdoors, read the interview here.
