Congratulations to fellow José González who was included in the “Grist50“—a list of the “best and the brightest fighting for our planet” “innovators, organizers, and visionaries who will lead us toward a more sustainable future, in the coming year (and beyond)”—for his work with Latino Outdoors, the organization he founded to focus on expanding and amplifying the Latino experience in the outdoors; providing greater opportunities for leadership, mentorship, professional opportunities and serving as a platform for sharing cultural connections and narratives that are often overlooked by the traditional outdoor movement.
